Usage of drugs without medical prescription for illicit purposes had increased drastically. It has already targeted many youths, and to prevent the students from getting into the shadow of it. We conducted a 2-day programme dated from 16th Dec, 2022, to 17th Dec, 2022, on Ward 13. We realised the taboo on drugs was still very prevalent, and that’s when our Chief Guest, Ward Chairperson Om Prakash Duwadi, came into action. He made people realise that it can cause serious health hazards and can’t be viewed as a taboo. He helped us in highlighting the negatives of drug abuse to the local people.
